Lucie Safarova announced the good news yesterday: Rob Steckley is back on her team, as full time coach.
They have trained together in Florida this week and he will travel with Lucie to Australia in January, to start the 2018 season.
Safarova mentioned that she was excited to work with Steckley again.

Rob and Lucie already worked together before, for 3 years, before parting ways in September 2016. Fans know how successful their partnership has been: Lucie achieved the best results of her career under Rob’s wings. He helped her reach the semifinals of Wimbledon, the final of Roland Garros,  the WTA finals and a career high as #5 in the world.

Rob is also the one who brought Team Bucie together. As you know, Lucie and Bethanie are one of the best doubles teams on the tour as they’ve won 5 Grand Slams together and also both reached the World number 1 spot.

Rob being back also means that the fun videos are back too: see here the video they made to celebrate their renewed partnership.

That’s great but what happened to Adam Altschuler, wasn’t he supposed to be Lucie’s new coach? You even wrote a post about him (which seems to have disappeared).

Hi Jonny, indeed Adam was supposed to coach Lucie but the coach situation in tennis can change pretty fast. Adam will still coach Bethanie.

        Hi,
Thanks for your answer. Hopefully Lucie will have as much success as the last time they worked together 🙂
